Journeys with JB ("we," "our," or "us") is a luxury travel advisory business operated by Jea Breshears, an independent advisor powered by Fora Travel. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit journeyswithjb.com or interact with our services.

By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you choose to give us through the planning tools on this site:

• Your email address, if you choose to share it
• From the Signature Journey inquiry form: your name, email, phone number, home city, Instagram handle if you give it, and the trip details you enter, including destinations, dates, who is traveling, your budget range, and your travel preferences
• From the Budget Translator: your budget, number of travelers, trip type, trip length, region, what you want to prioritize, and the result you were shown
• From the Points Calculator: the loyalty programs and point balances you enter, your destination, your cabin class, and the result you were shown
• From Find Your Cruise Style: your answers to the six questions, the cruise style you matched with, and the runner-up. If you send the results to us, also your name, email, Instagram handle if you give it, rough timing, and who is traveling
• From Where to Go When: the destinations you save to your shortlist. If you send your shortlist to us, also your name, email, Instagram handle if you give it, when you can travel, who is going, and anything else you add
• From the VIP Desk and Curated Services request forms: your name, email, phone number and Instagram handle if you give them, and the booking details you enter, such as hotels, dates, flights, points balances, room blocks, cruises, groups or charters
• From the contact form: your name, email, Instagram handle if you give it, and your message
• From the Ask About Dates form on each small group trip page: your name, email, the trip and departure date you are interested in, how many are traveling, whether you would like your own room, and any notes you add
• From the Plan This Honeymoon form on the Tanzania honeymoon page: your names, email, the month you would like to travel, your wedding date if you share it, whether you would like the hot air balloon, and any notes you add

The Budget Translator and the Points Calculator ask for your email before showing a result. When you see your result, your answers, your email and the result are sent to us so we can follow up.

Find Your Cruise Style works out your match inside your browser. Nothing reaches us unless you fill in the short form under your result, which asks for your name and email so we can reply and sends your answers and your match along with them.

Where to Go When keeps the places you save inside your own browser. Nothing reaches us unless you send your shortlist using the form, which asks for your name and email so we can reply and sends your saved places along with them.

The destination quiz on the Guides page runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you select there is sent to us or stored.

The Signature Journey, VIP Desk, Curated Services, small group trip, honeymoon package and contact forms are all hosted here, not by Fora. When you submit one, your answers come to us directly through Netlify Forms, our website host, along with the page you submitted from and the site that referred you. While you fill in the longer forms, your answers are saved in your own browser so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. That saved copy stays on your device and clears itself once you submit.

If you go from the Budget Translator or the Points Calculator to a request form, your answers are carried across inside your browser so you do not have to type them again. They are only sent to us if you submit that form.

Booking links to partner sites, including the hotel booking portal run by Fora Travel, our host agency, take you off this website. Anything you enter there is collected by that company under its own privacy policy, not on this website.

We do not collect payment information, credit card numbers, or sensitive financial data through this website.

How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiry and begin designing your itinerary
• To follow up on Budget Translator, Points Calculator, Find Your Cruise Style, and Where to Go When results and match you with suitable travel recommendations
• To communicate with you throughout the travel planning process
• To send you occasional travel notes, only if you tick the box asking for them on a form or tool. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To improve the website and user experience

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling beyond the destination quiz on the Guides page and Find Your Cruise Style, both of which operate entirely within your browser and are used only to personalize the recommendations you are shown.

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate this website. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics: measures how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and which links are clicked. It sets its own cookies and records your approximate location and device type. Privacy Policy
• Netlify: hosts this website, may collect standard server logs, and receives everything you send through a form on this site, including the Budget Translator, the Points Calculator, Find Your Cruise Style, and Where to Go When, before it reaches us by email. Privacy Policy
• Clearbit: provides partner brand logos displayed on the site. No personal data is shared with Clearbit.
• Fora Travel: our host agency. Bookings made through Journeys with JB are processed through Fora Travel, and the hotel booking portal linked from this site is run by Fora. Privacy Policy

Cookies & Tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not run retargeting campaigns or share your data with advertisers.

We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and it sets its own cookies to recognize repeat visits. We use this only to see which pages and guides are useful, never to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.

Standard browser-level cookies may be set by Netlify (our hosting provider) for performance and security. These are minimal and do not contain personally identifiable information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators) as necessary to complete your booking
• With Fora Travel, our host agency, as required to process reservations and commissions
• If required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Journeys with JB or others

Data Retention

We retain your inquiry and contact information for as long as necessary to provide travel advisory services and maintain our business relationship with you.

If you would like your data deleted entirely, please email us at hello@journeyswithjb.com and we will fulfill your request within 30 days.

• Request deletion of your personal data
